Terms and conditions

Any contract of sale, payment of invoice or work accepted to be undertaken by JR Firearms is deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions. No changes to these terms will be made unless specifically agreed in writing.

All custom work or services requested must be confirmed in writing via email, text message or WhatsApp.

All product sales or custom work/services require a minimum 50% non-refundable part payment in advance of the ordering of parts or commencement of work. The outstanding balance is due upon completion, and must be paid in full prior to the release of products or services provided.

All invoices must be paid within 14 days. Invoices paid outside of this time frame are subject to a 5% monthly interest charge and a £20 admin fee.

Upon completion of work, customers are given 28 days free storage. Any items not collected after this period are charged £5 per week for storage.

All custom work or services are non-refundable. Any third party products can be returned within 14 days for store credit unless they are faulty. Faulty products are replaceable or refundable dependent on the manufacturers’ terms and are subject to inspection.

All firearms submitted for proof testing are at the customers’ own risk. Neither the proof house or JR Firearms accept liability for damage of goods while in the possession of the Proof house.

It is the responsibility of the owner to re-proof any firearm or component part that has undergone modification if they decided to sell the firearm. Such modifications include barrel shortening, barrel threading, bolt fluting, barrel fluting etc.

All work carried out by JR Firearms is warrantied for 6 months against workmanship issues and material defects. Third party products are subject to the manufacturers’ own warranty policy. All warranty claims are subject to inspection by JR Firearms or a pre-approved independent registered firearms dealer. Alteration to products, services provided, or the use of home loaded ammunition will invalidate the warranty. Warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

We will endeavour to complete all works in a timely manner, but due to the unique nature of custom work, the sourcing of components and the proof house, time frames cannot be guaranteed.

Prices are subject to change during the course of completion of accepted work. This is due to market variance in product prices, exchange rates and shipping costs. We will endeavour to minimise changes and advise before completion.

JR Firearms will not be liable for any loss, damage or expenses incurred as a result of the shipping of a firearm to or from JR Firearms. Shipping insurance can be purchased for firearms packed and shipped by JR Firearms, please ask for pricing.

JR Firearms is not liable for any damage sustained to firearms or products undergoing alteration or remedial work such as muzzle threading, bolt handle conversion, fluting etc. This is due to invasive machining processes. Therefore, superficial damage can occur, but we will endeavour to minimise this at all times.
